Rugby TUSC launches petition to re-route bus services through the heart of Long Lawford

Part of the recent cuts to bus services by Stagecoach Midlands has been to take off the 3A from Long Lawford to Rugby. This bus went through the heart of the village. The 86 from Coventry to Rugby still comes into Long Lawford, and it could easily be re-routed to include Chapel St, Cross St, Round Avenue and Holbrook Rd - without detriment to stops in other parts of Long Lawford. The petition, initiated by Rugby TUSC, can be found in the Lawford Arms, the Caldecott, and the Community Cafe which is housed in the church on Chapel St. It will be presented to Stagecoach Midlands in a few weeks time.
